Does the Bible forbid Christians from eating meat?

Genesis 9 vs.3 – Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.

1. There is nowhere in the Bible where Christians are commanded to be vegetarians.
2. But the Bible encourages eating of herbs before eating animals as meat.
