Luke 15 vs. 10 – Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth. –King James Bible
Prayers is one of the features of the Christian life. Prayers is communicating with God through our acts, worship, meditation, and the words we utter either in solemnity or in the congregation. In recent years, some Christian pray methodically arming themselves with some prayer points which they use to engage in prayer. It does not matter whether you have a written prayer, the truth is that every Christian have a prayer point or points. In all cases, when we receive answers to our prayers, we are happy and excited and when answers to our prayer points are not forthcoming we feel disappointed and frustrated.
Just as men have prayer points, God also has prayer points. Just as men are excited when their prayer points are answered, God is also happy and in fact when his prayer points are answered. Just as man is sad when his prayers are not answered, God also is not happy when his prayer points are not answered. Just as man depends on God to answer his prayer points, God also depend on man to answer his prayers points. This may seem surprising since God is regarded as omnipotent and capable of solving any problem. But the truth is that God cannot answer his prayer points except with the help of man.
Man’s prayer points are centered on food, clothing, accommodation, finances, bodily health, etc. God also have prayer points. What are the prayer points of God you may ask?
Let us examine the passage above more carefully.
Luke 15 vs. 10 – Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth. –King James Bible
Today, the spirit of God wants to reveal to us the secret of answered prayers.
If you study the above passage carefully, there is joy, excitement and happiness in Heaven over every sinner that repents. God and his angels literally throw a party any time a sinner repents. What is the significance of this? The import of this is that there is something that causes Joy in the presence of God. The desire of God is that every sinner will repent, but only one sinner repents from time to time.
Jesus said in Mathew 28: 19-20 – Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
This is exactly the prayer point of God. Go and win souls for me is the prayer point of God. Go and teach my word to sinners is the only prayer point of God. Go and get me disciples of all nations, is the only prayer point of God.
The big question today is that are you helping God to answer that prayer points. God cannot answer that prayer point. He needs you to answer that prayer points for him. Such as we earnestly seek answers to our prayers, God is also earnestly seeking answers to this prayer points. Now if the salvation of a sinner brings joy to God, that is an answered prayer of God , and when the Angels of God in heaven are rejoicing over the salvation of the single soul, the person that was the vessel for the salvation of soul will receive reward. If God is happy that you saved a soul for him obviously, he will willingly and speedily answer your prayer.
The summary of my message is that as long as you answer the prayer points of God, God will also easily answer your prayer points without much stress from you. You have several prayer points before God that is yet unanswered for years. God also has a single prayer point that refuse to answer. Step out and start to win souls for him and see Him answer your pending prayers.
There is somebody that wants to bring joy to the presence of God today by winning a soul. There is somebody that wants to bring joy to the presence of God today by saying Yes to Jesus. There is someone that wants to answer prayer points of God today by deciding to preach the gospel. If you fall under any of these categories, say this prayer:
My Father and My God, I come to you as a sinner that have disobeyed your instruction. I surrender my life to you today. I promise to start the work of an evangelist. I accept Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. I invite the Holy Spirit to rule my life in Jesus name.
What an insightful revelation. I have read this passage of the Bible countless times but have never reached this realization. In fact, am impressed; giving me the idea about the prayer request of God I.e. to win souls.
Thank you and may God bless you for sharing this word with us
