Memorise: “And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you today: For the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more for ever” (Ex 14:13). Read: Exodus 14:13-22 |
| “And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you today: For the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more for ever” (Ex 14:13). Every enemy has his or her time of operation beyond which they cannot go any further. The enemy you fail to retire will retire you. If you allow them to wear you out they will take you as spoils of battle. This is why you must ask God for the grace to persevere and see the end of your enemies.
You shall outlive your enemies in Jesus’ Name. One lesson from the peak of Israel’s exodus from Egypt is that freedom is sweet but could be lost. Sometimes victory could be such a fragile benefit. This is why believers must persist in the effort that led to that victory until it becomes permanent. Your victory over the flesh, Satan, and the world shall be permanent in Jesus’ Name. If only we had sustained this programme in Abuja, Nigeria would have been spared the agonies that followed. Like the Israelites who after they left Egypt and crossed the Red Sea, thought it was picnic time, we declared a holiday. We did not realize that as sweet as freedom is, it could also be lost. In Philippians 3:12-14, Paul said he never assumed he had arrived. As far as he was concerned, no picnic can be declared until his final exit from earth. Yet, it is not picnic time. It is not yet time to celebrate. Continue to apply and sustain your prayer effort. Sustain that giving effort. Keep up with your vigilant effort. Continue that fasting effort. David was not satisfied his Goliath had fallen. He sustained his battle effort until Goliath lost his head. No less is expected from you. |
| Cancel that celebration and declare a higher level of vigilance. |
yes I love Jesus so much.
