Memorize “for to me to live is Christ and to die again” ( Phill1:21).
Read Philippians 1:20-21
“For to me to live is Christ and to die again” ( Phill1:21). The above comment was made by Paul. In other words, he was saying: ‘I will live for Jesus and even if I die in the process, I will die His partner.’ Paul was an example of a faithful partner in divine-human partnership.
No wonder his hands performed special miracles (Acts 19:11-12).
It equally determines the grace that will accompany your ministry. You cannot operate at the lowest rung of divine-human partnership and expect great heavenly packages to follow.
What type of partnership are you with God? Abraham’s blessing is not automatic for believers. When you are born again, having become a spiritual Jews you are short listed as beneficiary of Kingdom right and privileges.
Of you study your bible closely; you will discover that most of those promises have accompanying conditions that must be satisfied before they can be fulfilled. Partnership is key to most of God’s special rights, privilege and blessing.
However, in ever partnership, there is a senior and junior partner. Psalm 91:1 calls God the Most High. If you enter into partnership with Him, He will do most of the work, leaving you with very little. In Joshua 10:10-14, in a battle against a confederation of five kings, the enemies were about to escape when God rained hailstorms on them.
More died by these heavenly missiles than by Israel’s weapons of war. If you are in partnership with God, after you have done your bit, He will do what you cannot do.
I was invited to preach in America sometimes ago. It was the middle of winter and I don’t like cold. I accepted the invitation only because my senior Partner asked to On arrival, it was so cold that people were clad with all sorts of warm clothes. But while there. God withheld the snow.
Immediately I departed, the sown came down. When God is your senior partner He is in charge. He issues the orders and all you have to do is simply comply. Unfortunately, many who claim to be in partnership with the Most High have striped Him of his title!
At best, they have reduced Him to junior partner while they parade themselves as the ‘boss’. Little wonder God’s hand is tied that he cannot perform Hid mighty feats. God never forces His placement in a partnership. You are free to decide His role in that partnership. Don’t scheme Him out
