Dearly beloved, when all of life is gone; when the last breathe you breath, what will you be remembered for? All of your earthly possessions would avail to nothing when you have reached the last mile of the way. You will only be remembered by what you have done for the Lord Jesus Christ.
You will be remembered for your uncompromising stand for the Lord; you will be remembered for your sacrificial service to the Lord; you will be remembered for the long period you spent praying for others; you will be remembered for surrendering all at the feet of the Lord Jesus Christ.
You will not be remembered for the endless hours you spent working overtime at the expense of your family and eternity; you will not be remembered for the number of houses and cars you have been able to acquire;
You will not be remembered for the numbers of degrees you have added to your resume or CV; you will not be remembered for the number of social organizations you are affiliated with; and you will not be remembered for your super-dynamic family structure. You will only be remembered by what you have done for the Lord Jesus Christ.
And of course if you are not a Christian or you are a compromising Christian, God will have no remembrance of you when you are gone. You have been listed with the forgotten, but the good news is that you still have an opportunity to turn things around, make a U- turn and give your life to the Lord Jesus Christ, without any reservations.
He will have mercy on you and give you an awesome grace to live a life justify before him.
Fading away like the stars in the morning, Losing their light in the glorious sun, No for the sowers nay pass from their labors, Only remembered by what we have done. What will you be remembered
