Read Isaiah 43:18-21
Thanking God for great things He has done could be easy, but thanking Him when things seem not to work out can be difficult. Yet, that is what separates the thankful from the unthankful. In one year, a sister lost her job, lost her car to thieves and her flat to fire. Yet during the new year’s even, she praised God more than anyone else. When asked what she was praising God for, considering all the misfortunes of the year, she said she was praising God that in spite of every thing that the enemies tried, she was still alive.
Thank God for your life. Thank Him for all he has delivered you from since the year began. Do you remember to thank God in those situation the devil and your flesh would want you to do other wise? “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert” (Isaiah 43:19). The Lord has promised to do a new thing.
The new thing God is about to do in your life shall not be delayed. He will make rives in your desert. When a man gets promoted to a new level, every thing becomes new. There. There will be a new title, office, privileges, blessings, language, joy, victory, etc. it was after I brought my car that I discovered that car owners have their language. They will say “How is your car performing?”
However, a new thing van mean different people. If you get promoted to the post of a manger, that means you are the new boss. It is equally a new experience for your subordinates as they will receiving new orders, instructions and direction from their new boss. A new thing can be positive or negative depending on which divide you belong.
For instance, in Exodus 14:21-28, when God parted the Read Sea, it was a new thing. The Israelites experienced this as a new way to total freedom. But to Pharaoh and his men, it was a new way for total destruction. When God says to His children He will do a before. It also means that God is about surprise your enemies beyond recovery. The Lord is starting a new thing in your life, family, business, and ministry.
Are you prepared for it? “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert” (Isaiah 43:19).
Please pray for me!! I am disabled (MS) walking with a cane and was maliciously pulled from a sedentary position with no notice to a job that required continual walking. I had no background on that job, which included math and other knowledge. The employer knew I could not do it and I was terminated when I could no longer walk and had applied for Workers Compensation. The position greatly accelerated my condition since I also have arthritis in the knee and was told continual walking could herniate or rupture my discs because they found them out of line in my back. It is also very painful to walk. The able-bodied employees that could not perform the work they applied for were never terminated – just moved to another unit. I was picked on, harassed. lied and on and even vandalized of my personal possessions on my desk during the whole time I worked there. I was given other peoples’ work that they could not do correctly although they made more money. I could not quit because I have a child to raise, bills to pay and of course needed to keep my home etc.
I have tried to get compensated ever since and was lied on with the employer stating that I actually applied for the job, it was my previous job and that I was sent back and that my job was abolished and I was sent to the unit. They also told other lies on me. None of that is true! I was also called one evening by the supervisor who was responsible for pulling me in the unit-telling me not to report to work because of a flood and later that was changed-she had me put on AWOL and not paid. I have been fighting this since 2006 and of course lost my home and vehicle. My granddaughter (I raised) and myself now live in a room (in a Christian home) and barely eat. I can not afford a scooter and have no health insurance.
Myself and church members believe that lawyers and judges have been paid although I have all the evidence documented. They refuse to give me an attorney although I am eligible and now they are even transferring the case. They are doing everything they can to keep from paying me and clearing my good work record.
I ask God to cut off the supply of finances used to pay off those who are asked to work against me and lie on me. I asked God to cut off the unjust judges and attorneys and expose the enemy! I ask for protection for all those who pray for me concerning this situation and expose those who are praying against me with prayers or any form of witchcraft or similar works of the enemy. I am asking for God’s unprecedented favor so that this case is finished quickly in my favor. I ask God to bless me to be paid all of the settlement and also clear my work record.
