Father God, I come to You in the name of Jesus Christ to pray for my marriage and the marriages and families of your loved ones. I pray that those who do not know you personally will come to know You as Lord and Savior.
I ask that You send laborers to them. Forgive us Father God for failure to align ourselves perfectly with Your will. Forgive us for known sin and rebellion, idolatry and a lack of separation from the things of the world. I ask for forgiveness, I surrender to Jesus, and I renounce all evil.
Father God You said a house divided against itself cannot stand. I pray for unity in my house, my marriage and the marriages and families of your loved ones. I know this can only happen if we surrender and submit to You, Lord. I pray for husbands and wives to surrender their will to Your will.
You said, “When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him”. I ask You God to lift up Your standard against the devil in my marriage and the marriages and families of your loved ones. You said that whatever we bind on earth in Jesus’ name is bound in heaven and whatever we loose on earth in Jesus’ name is loosed in heaven.
Satan I bind you from interfering with everything the Lord Jesus Christ has ordained for us. I bind fear, intimidation, pride, rebellion, stubbornness, self-condemnation, self-righteousness, seduction, deception and rejection.
I bind smoking and nicotine, drugs, alcohol, sexual immorality, pornography, homosexuality, gambling, abuse, all forms of wickedness at the root and cast you out of the lives of me, my spouse, my marriage and the marriages and families of these loved ones. I command the ruling spirits to cast out their underlings. I ask Warring Angels of God to assist in the work of deliverance as directed by God.
I apply the Blood of Jesus Christ to the areas where these Spirits were. I loose us to be awakened to the Holy Spirit working God’s divine will in our lives. I loose us to awaken to righteousness and freedom to God’s restoration in our lives.
Now Lord, I apply the blood of Jesus Christ over our marriage and bind Satan away from us. Lord send your angels to minister unto us, build a ring of Holy Ghost Fire around us and cover us with Your Blood. I pray that we worship Jesus in spirit and truth. I pray that me and my husband and other husbands and wives will not break faith with each other and that You will receive our offerings with pleasure.
Help us to guard ourselves and spirit because You hate divorce and You hate it when a man or woman covers themselves with such violence. I ask that you convict those who have broken faith and their marriage covenant that they may repent and return to you. I pray that our lives are blessed with the rewards of fidelity and that we rejoice in each other.
I give You praise and honor, Lord, that no weapon formed against this marriage has prospered, and that You are proving every voice raised against it wrong, because this is our heritage as Your children and it is your vindication for us. I praise You Lord, that your grace is sufficient for those standing for the restoration of their marriage, and that your power is made perfect in our weakness and that the power of Christ is in us.
I praise You Lord that You have made us one in flesh and one spirit, that we are husband and wife forever by the marriage vows we made before You, in righteousness, justice, unfailing love and compassion. Strengthen the marriages of our land. Help us to guard the door of our mouths and train us not to speak against Your favor at work in our lives. Give us a double portion in our marriage.
I ask that You repay and restore what the locusts were sent among us to destroy. Restore the values of faithfulness, caring, and commitment to our marriages today. Lord, You instituted the family to be the cornerstone of society, restore us to our rightful place and glorify your name through this marriage. I pray that Christian couples and families would love each other with the love of Jesus Christ and that unsaved people would be drawn to Jesus Christ because of the love they see in Christian families. I ask You to heal wounded hearts and restore those who need restoration, Lord. O Lord.
I pray that families begin to see their need for time with God, through prayer, Bible reading, and church attendance. I ask You, Holy Spirit, to move in homes throughout this land with Your saving, delivering, and restoring power. Let our lives lovingly express truth in all things, speaking truly, dealing truly, and living truly.
Let us grow up in every way and in all things in Jesus Christ the Anointed One. Let us be constantly renewed in the spirit of our mind and put on the new nature created in God’s image, in true righteousness and holiness. Let us express truth always.
Let all bitterness and indignation and wrath, ungodly passion, rage, bad temper and resentment, anger, animosity, quarreling, brawling, clamor, contention, slander, evil-speaking, abusive or blasphemous language be banished from us along with all malice, spite, ill will, or baseness of any kind. I praise and thank You Lord, for keeping forever the promise you have made concerning us that Your name will be great forever.
I thank You Lord that You are Sovereign Lord, you alone are God! Your words are trustworthy and true, and you have promised these good things to those who trust You. Lord I trust you for my marriage and the marriages of these loved ones.
You have said that You will build a home for us, that it pleases You to bless marriages. I ask you to bless my marriage and the marriage of these loved ones. Let it continue before You forever. So it has been spoken and so it is done. In Jesus’ Mighty name I pray. Amen.
