Where does the Obama 2008 campaign get its ‘Yes, we can’ catchword. Obviously from the Bible!
The motto of the campaign is an adaptation of Philipians 4 vs 13 that is reproduced below in various versions of the Bible.
Barack Obama might not have exactly reproduced Phillipians 4 vs 13 as its campaign theme, but his christian background must have deeply influenced his belief in his ability to do the impossible, courage to confront and overcome all odds, and faith to achieve the seemingly impossible.
