Many starting a new business lack funds. Family friends founders and fools are great sources of income in return for varying amounts of equity in the new firm. Lack of vision – yes – if time has not been spent deciding the industry you are in and the product or service you are offering. Laziness – can occur, especially if given a great wad of financial backing upfront. Procrastination may actually fear to take some risks in the course of attempting to achieve an income using a business. Bad company, can be true in other endeavours regardless of business. Lack of unity between couples. Ask yourself are you appreciative of the heavy workload your wife has already. What adjustments are you making to free her up to help you in the business? You want help – then give help.
Yes you are right. It takes a lot of prayer to have devine insight, wisdom, provision and direction. To not only start a business but to keep it growing. An one should devote hours into prayer just to start one as well as keep one going. I would tell anyone to count the cost before starting a business.
