Crucify your flesh

1 Corinthians 1 vs. 29 – That no flesh should glory in his presence.  

1. Do not put your confidence in the flesh
2. Do not put your trust in the flesh.
3. The flesh will fail you. Only the spirit of God can strengthen you.
4. You need the spirit of God, the power of God, and the anointing of God.
5. The flesh failed Peter, that was following Jesus and vowed not to deny Jesus.
6. The flesh failed Samson. The flesh failed David.
7. The flesh will tempt you to get drunk, smoke, watch pornography, steal money, and engage in sexual immorality.
8. Let no man glory in his flesh. This is a warning from the Bible and a counsel from the Bible.
9. The only way to leave above the flesh is to crucify the flesh.
10. Kill your flesh, do not trust your flesh.
11. Let your flesh be crucified on the altar of righteousness in Jesus’ name. Amen
