Esther 2 vs. 7
And he brought up Hadassah, that is, Esther, his uncle’s daughter: for she had neither father nor mother, and the maid was fair and beautiful; whom Mordecai, when her father and mother were dead, took for his own daughter.
- Esther never had a father nor mother. She was an orphan.
- Esther was a slave, a captive and a non citizen of Babylon.
- Esther was a female. Females up till now are marginalised in most parts of the world.
- Yet she became a queen in a foreign land.
- As long as your ways are right, God will send helpers to you.
